How do I get urine and urine odors out of my carpet or furniture?
Pre-treat the stain with > 3% hydrogen peroxide. Blot it out with out with a white towel. This will remove staining and odors.
You can also use baking soda to remove odors from your carpet. Sprinkle a generous amount over affected area. Let sit for 3-4 hours. Then vacuum up. However it can be hard to remove afterwards.
What is the best product for stain removal on my carpet?
Hydrogen peroxide is an excellent product for most stain removal needs. Soak the affected area for five minutes, then blot up with a white towel.
How often should I clean my carpet?
You should clean your carpet a minimum of three times per year. If not regularly cleaned, mites will decrease the longevity of your rug. If you have pets, you should clean your carpets at least four times per year.
Is it time to replace my carpet?
If you see threads coming apart and has a fuzzy appearance, or has permanent matted areas, it is time to replace your carpet.
